REGIMENTAL INSIGNIA
ASSOCIATION
CAP BADGE
A ten pointed star of sixty rays; an annulus bearing the motto "A
MARI USQUE AD MARE"; three hard maple leafs conjoined on
one stem.
The ten points of the star represent the ten Provinces of Canada. The
three maple leafs are taken from the Canadian Coat of Arms. The
Regimental motto is the motto of our Country as selected by the
Fathers of Confederation from the 72nd Psalm. Its official
translations are;
FROM SEA TO SEA and D'UN OCEAN A L'AUTRE.
COLLAR BADGE

Three hard maple leafs conjoined on one stem and surmounted by the Crown placed on the topmost point of the centre maple leaf.
REGIMENTAL STAR

An elongated replica of the cap badge without the crown. The Star, used as a badge of rank, was suggested by Her Majesty The Queen in lieu of various stars of Orders of Chivalry, and should be known as a "Canadian Star".
Something to Remember
Death comes to all, but great achievements
raise a monument which shall endure
until the sun grows cold.
